Floppy Firefly Hands (Oculus Quest)
A downloadable experiment for Linux
Day 7 of the 12 Days of Sketchmas Game Jam. The theme prompt: Illumination
I wanted to experiment with making particles that each seek after a certain location on an animated mesh. In this case the particles each will fly towards their own particular spot on a hand, animated in VR.

Install instructions
Install on Oculus Quest or Oculus Quest 2 using Sidequest and run FireflyHands in the "Unknown Sources" part of the library.

looks great, instant matrix vibe
I like especially that youtube-preview, and generally it's pixels as "fireflies", sadly owning no VR-gear. btw: would be curious how to code apps e.g. even just textbased for VR-games?
Pretty neat. Could be cool in a game where you do magic with your hands or something.
