Your Head Is A Hammer (VR)
A downloadable game for Windows and Android
Your head is a hammer! Use your head to nail wooden pieces together to make furniture and art. Try building items from the in-game prompts, or create whatever you dare to imagine in this VR creativity sandbox.
Requires a VR system: Oculus Quest, Oculus Desktop, SteamVR, or Windows Mixed Reality. You can't play this without a 6 degree-of-freedom VR system.
Safety first! Make sure you clear your space of all obstructions and strap your headset on tight so that it doesn't fall off when you hammer.
For Oculus Quest, you can also install it directly through Sidequest here: https://sidequestvr.com/app/5629/your-head-is-a-hammer
The game will show up in your library under the Unknown Sources section. Make sure your Oculus Quest is in Developer Mode in order to see sideloaded content in the Unknown Sources folder of the Library.
(teleports you forward/backwards 0.5 meters)
(snaps +/- 45 degrees)
|Grab||Place hand on item and hold the front trigger or side grip. Release trigger/grip to drop item. |
For your hammering convenience, dropped nails will weakly stick to wood if its tip is touching the wood when released.
|Nail 2 pieces of wood together||Place one piece of wood on top of the another.|
Grab a nail and place its tip on wood.
Smash the nail with your hammer head.
