Sky Painter (XR for Quest)

Relax and paint fluffy clouds with your fingers in this hand-tracked pass-through mixed-reality experience. Requires Meta Quest 3 or Pro, pass-through, and hand-tracking.

NOTE: the game sometimes requires about 10 seconds to load / warm up. When you see the blue overlay over your hands, it should be ready. Do not use controllers - use hand tracking.

To install: use Sidequest to install the .apk file to your Quest. See video tutorial. Then open up your library, filter for "Unknown sources", and run Sky Painter.

Action	Hand Gesture
Draw clouds	Pinch index finger and thumb
Attract clouds	Thumbs up
Repel clouds	Thumbs down You can also blow clouds away near your mouth.
Push cloud	Push clouds with palm
Instructions / Options	Open your left palm, and look at it. Buttons on your wrist will allow you to see art prompts (clap for next prompt), toggle pass-through mode, or show the credits.

Made in 1 day for Godot XR Game Jam July 2024. The theme is: relaxation. I wanted to practice passthrough and handtracking with Godot and I thought it would be relaxing to be able to draw clouds in my room and be able to push them around. I hope you enjoy!
