Inspired by "Wave For Me" Famicase 2018 Cover by Michael Shillingburger (@shillingburger).

For Desktop VR: This game requires SteamVR to be running before you start the game, HTC Vive or Oculus Rift, and handheld VR controllers (Vive Wands or Oculus Touch). WMR not supported.

A Lullaby of Colors is also available in the Desktop VR-only version on Steam and Viveport. Each new purchase automatically comes with a Steam key also, unless you bought it in a bundle. Click the request key button on the purchase page.

Oculus Quest (Sideload .APK): You can install the .APK version onto the Oculus Quest via sideloading. For most people, the easiest way to do this is to install via SideQuest. After configuring your Oculus Quest for developer mode, and installing/setting up Sidequest on your desktop, you can then just drag and drop the APK into SideQuest in the area in the top left corner.

Launch A Lullaby of Colors on the Oculus Quest by navigating to the Library, selecting the Unknown Sources category on the left, look for "A Lullaby of Colors" on the right, and run it.

Previously titled "Chromesthesia".

Procedurally generated realms of gentle sounds and poppy colors. You can change songs and universes by going into the bouncing big balloon. Fun experience!

Thank you for the video!

Thank you for making the game!

Hello, would it be possible to have a release for Pico 4? It should be a little better than the quest 2 in terms of hardware and also runs android but for one reason or another it loads as a normal windowed app when installed on Pico 4 instead of a VR game.

Sorry, no. I don't have a Pico 4, they don't sell the Pico 4 here in the USA, and I don't have the budget for a Pico 4. I'm going to get a Quest 3 instead - better return on investment for a starving indie dev. But if someone has an extra Pico 4 they could donate/lend me, then I could look into releasing it on Pico 4.

Truly a peaceful and enjoyable experience, just as described <3

I really enjoyed the app and I played it a lot. :D

I was wondering if I could get a steam key to show the game to my friends easier. I want to put the game up on the up screen.

Thanks! You should see a "Request Key" button somewhere here on the Itch page. If it doesn't show up for you (not sure how it works with bundles, if you bought it through a bundle), then please send me a message on twitter @andyman404 and I'll send you the Steam key.

If I bought it on itch.io then how do I get it onto the sidequest app? Or do I have to buy it again?

Go to the link for the bundle. You can search for games in the list. Search for "lullaby". Download the APK, and then install it to your Quest with Sidequest.

Yup, just download the APK file on Itch, connect your Quest to your computer, open up Sidequest, and drag the APK file into the top left corner area of Sidequest to install.

Thank you all!

The itch.io purchase also comes with a Steam key if you want to install it that way instead of using Sidequest (see other reply or the Oculus Quest section of the description section for instructions for installing on Sidequest).

This is awesome. Is there any way to uncap the framerate on the non-VR version? I'd love to see this at 120FPS+.

Would I be allowed to use footage I record of this as the background for videos on youtube?

Yes

Thank you ^^

I'm depressed because I have no money to spare to buy this game =(

It's part of the huuuuge bundle right now for racial justice: https://itch.io/b/520/bundle-for-racial-justice-and-equality

thanks for pointing that out, I keep buying games that I own already through that bundle, haha

Hi man! Love the app and have a question: Are you gonna add it to Sidequest? You can just add the application without downloads so that it links to the itch store :) Would be cool to see it there.

Thanks! Yeah, I'll look into getting it onto the official Sidequest.

Showed this off at a party.  Everyone wished I had a VR headset.

We called it an "Adult ball pit."

Thank you for the video!

Very cool. It has a very relaxing and calming feel to it and I can't imagine how awesome it must be in 3D.

I love games like this that aren't really games at all, more like interactive experiences. =)

defently one of the most visually strikinggame of AGBIC 2018. It can with the help of the music be pretty effective to cool someone down

Hello, another brilliant game from you, i played it in 2D unfortunately for me, I can only imagine how mesmirising it is in VR. I made a video of some of the games I liked from the AGBIC jam and included yours, i hope you don't mind!

Thank you for the great videos and covering AGBIC!

impressive! I'm playing this just before bedtime ;) there is something deeply addicting in wanting to find out what is next, what the next ambience will be and yet at the same time very relaxing cause you want to stay and enjoy the one you're listening at the moment.

Thank you!

This is trance inducing. One area I entered had almost no movement and the music was ommmmmmmmm. I just stopped and stared. This game is not to be played while driving a car or operating heavy machinery.

:)  Yeah it's definitely a game for vegging out and drooling! I spent way too much time just zoning out and staring at the landscapes while developing the game.

this game is definitely not like anything there was ever created :D
